After heat wave, another warm week
The National Weather Service is forecasting another hot and humid week with temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s.
“High pressure will remain over the area, with mostly clear skies and temperatures a few degrees above normal expected for today,” the NWS says.
“For Tuesday, a cold front will gradually move through the area late in the day. Southwest flow ahead of the front will allow temperatures to rise to above normal values, with 90 degree readings likely for the interior and across New York City, and middle and upper 80s along the coast. There will be a chance for at least isolated thunderstorms as the front moves through.”
