Touch grid powers duel for the lead

A head to head clash between undefeated powers highlighted this week's schedule in New Milford Parks & Recreation's men's touch football league.

Defending champion Family Laundry/1st & Ten Sports Bar and A-1 Dirty Dozen were set to duel Wednesday, Sept. 24, with first place at stake.

Both teams were 3-0 in the early going of the venerable program's 52nd season.

Games are played Sunday mornings at Helen Marx Park along Housatonic Avenue and, through early October, on Wednesday evenings.

Comprising the seven-team league this fall are Family Laundry/1st & Ten Sports Bar, A-1 Dirty Dozen, Phys-Ed, Gargon Construction, the Misfits, People's Power and RED.
