Registration is underway for programs offered by the New Milford Parks & Recreation Department.

Online sign-up is available at www.newmilfordrec.com by clicking on "Create New Account" to open an account and providing all contact information. Cell phone numbers with the carrier are needed for possible texts with last-minute program changes.
Registration is open for summer camp for youths in kindergarten to grade 8. Sessions will be offered weekdays from June 22 to July 31 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hill and Plain, Northville and Schaghticoke schools. Activities will include arts and crafts, trips to Lynn Deming Park on Candlewood Lake, additional field trips, and plenty of other games. Early-bird cost will be $320 for a family's first child, $265 for a second child and $195 for each additional child in a family, not to exceed $780. Learn to be
Lindsey Rourke will instruct girls' aged 6-12 in a four-week cheerleading program meeting Wednesdays from 5 to 6 p.m. from June 10 to July 1 at the Parks & Recreation office. Cost is $35.
Lynn Deming Park
The town park on Candlewood Lake will open May 23 for the season. Residents/taxpayers may purchase a vehicle pass for $45 with proof of residency or paid tax bills from the town. Boat launch stickers are $115 for residents only. Stickers are required of every boat/jet ski, with proof of residency or paid tax bill. Day passes are $15 for residents and $20 for nonresidents per person, per day. Day passes can only be purchased Mondays to Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the New Milford Parks & Recreation office at 47 Bridge St. No day passes are sold at the gate and walk-ins are not admitted.
