The Kent Park and Recreation Department is offering a variety of programs.

Office hours on the second floor at town hall are Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 2:30 p.m. Program registration forms are available outside the office weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Camp Kent

Registration for Camp Kent, the town's summer recreation camp for youths entering grades 1-8 in the fall, is open at the recreation office, by email or by phone on a first-come, first-served basis to Kent residents, then parents who work in Kent and then non-residents. Parents/guardians may register only their own children.

Camp sessions will meet weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from June 24 to Aug. 16 at Emery Park. Among the features are sports and games, arts and crafts, swimming and weekly themes.

Cost is $85 per week per child for residents and $115 per week per child for non-residents. A $5 discount is given to a second child or more in the same family attending the same week. Payment is due one week before the session to be attended.

Limited scholarships are available through the Kent Community Fund.
