It's nearly playoff time in adult slowpitch softball

Playoff qualification is the goal this week as the regular season winds down in New Milford Parks & Recreation slowpitch softball.

The men's and women's leagues are slated to begin their post-season games next Thursday, July 31, pending Mother Nature's cooperation.

The top four teams in each of the five men's divisions will make the grade, while the top four women's teams will vie for their championship.

The next four women's teams in the standings will compete in a consolation tournament.
