Green Wave quarterback Tyler Hansen passed for four touchdowns Saturday in Fairfield to lead the New Milford High football team to a 56-26 win over host Notre Dame.

A.J. MacDonald ran for three scores to complement Tyler Hansen's aerial effort.

Coach John Murphy's 3-5 grid squad won for a third time in five games following an 0-3 start.

Matt Ryan started the Green Wave point parade with a 45-yard TD pass to Andrew Hansen.

MacDonald contributed touchdown runs of five, seven and three yards.

Tyler Hansen fired scoring passes of 57 and 44 yards to Nick Kimball, a 57-yarder to Scott Eherts and a 54-yarder to Jackson Olson.

The Green Wave scored five times in the second quarter to build a 50-12 cushion by the intermission.

Coach Murphy and company will duel Brookfield on Friday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. on the Bobcats' field.

The Green Wave will then close its campaign with home games on Nov. 15 against Stratford and on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, against New Fairfield.
