Green Wave boys' lacrosse
Coach: Brendan Talbot, 6th season.
2012 record, accomplishments: 7-9, qualified for the South-West Conference and state tournaments.
Coach's outlook: "We return a large percentage of our team from 2012. We have excellent leadership from the senior captains but also from the entire senior class, many of whom have played varsity since sophomore year. As a staff, we have high expectations for junior attacker A.J. MacDonald and junior faceoff specialist Nick Capriglione. We have an outstanding sophomore class that will have many student-athletes on varsity led by midfielder Blaine McMahon. New Milford again is in the Colonial Division of the South-West Conference or the "power" division. We hope to compete for the SWC championship in 2013. We have a strong out-of-conference schedule once more to help us prepare for a play-off push, including East Islip from Long Island and strong Connecticut programs such as Conard, St. Joseph and Southington."
