A mandatory meeting is planned Feb. 3 for managers of teams interested in participating in the 2015 season for New Milford Parks & Recreation men's and women's slowpitch softball.

Women will meet at 6 p.m. and men will meet at 6:30 at the Parks & Recreation office, 47 Bridge Street.

A deposit of $150 will be required by the Feb. 3 meeting. Receipts will be available.

A late fee of $50 would be charged to teams not paying by Feb. 3. Those teams not paying by Feb. 20 at 4 p.m. would not be admitted to the league in 2015.

The deadline for the complete team roster and team request form will also be Feb. 20.

A second meeting will take place March 2 with a women's meeting at 5:45 p.m. and men meeting at 6:15.

The fee balance will be due at that time. A fee of $50 would be charged for late payment through March 13.

Divisional alignment will be announced at the March 2 meeting. The season schedule is expected to be ready by April 1.

Signed rosters must be in by March 27 at 4 p.m., accompanied by alll players' fees. A late fee of $25 would be charged for late signed rosters.

A team not turning in a signed roster by opening night of April 13 would forfeit its first game.

Practice times will be available at Young's Field by reservation by calling the Parks & Recreation office.

Pettibone Schools fields are not available unless permission is given by the Board of Education at 860-354-6265.
