Spotlight on students
-Emma Curnan has graduated from the University of Connecticut.
Mr. Krkisz was an honor roll student who sang in Acappelicans and was a senior section editor of The Confluence during his junior and senior years. He served on the SNUG Committee and was a senior leader at Sophomore Retreat. He will attend Colgate University.
-Ashley Hinz has earned a bachelor of science degree in family studies and Rebecca Riddle has earned a bachelor of arts degree in German, both graduating summa cum laude from the University of New Hampshire.
-Courtney Harvey has been named to the dean's list at Delaware Valley College in Doyleston, Pa.
-John Rene Toussaint, son of Charles and Janine Toussaint and Dennie and Dennis Debellis, all of New Milford, has graduated from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire with a bachelor of science degree in outdoor education.

-Rebecka Dorothea Gruber has graduated with a bachelor of science degree in veterinary science clinical medicine from Becker College in Worcester, Mass.
-Bryan Harrison has graduated as the University of Rhode Island's top landscape architecture student and one of only four students on campus to complete their degrees with a 4.0 grade point average.
He interned with the university's coastal landscapes program and the state's Coastal Resources Management Council to design the restoration of coastal buffers in the city of Warwick, and he is just completing a native plant design manual.
Mr. Harrison also worked on designing displays of naval artifacts in the landscape around the campus of the Naval War College in Newport and a siting and master plan for a sustainable high school at the university's W. Alton Jones campus in West Greenwich.
-Amanda Nicole Artese has completed all necessary coursework for a master of arts degree in clinical psychology from the University of Indianapolis.
She is currently enrolled to pursue a doctor of psychology degree.
Miss Channing earned a B.S. in business administration with an emphasis in marketing.
Mr. Cussen earned a B.S. in digital media and Mr. Seymour earned a B.S. in business administration with an emphasis in finance.
-Brittany Kapteina, the daughter of Tom and Jeannette Kapteina, has graduated magna cum laude from Bay Path College in Longmeadow Mass., with a bachelor of science degree in biology.
A senior journalism and mass communication and political science major, she graduated from Canterbury School in New Milford.
Miss Heaton, a member of the Class of 2011, is a graduate of Canterbury School in New Milford. She is majoring in French and global studies. Hockey and Omicron Delta Kappa Honorary are among the activities she has participated in on campus.
Miss Houston, a member of the Class of 2013, graduated from Kent School in Kent.
-Rachel A. Bell has received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education for K-6 at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt.
-Ashley Abeling Vinhateiro has earned a bachelor of science degree in health management and policy, Kelly S. Livingstone has earned a bachelor of science degree in family studies, graduating magna cum laude, and Ryan Lewis Rebstock has earned a bachelor of arts degree in English teaching, all at the University of New Hampshire.
-Ashley Powdar, Evan Noonan, Stephanie Chambers-Graves and Lora Salmonese have graduated from Pace University in New York. Ashley received a bachelor of arts degree, Evan received a bachelor's degree in business administration and Stephanie and Lorae each received a master of science degree.
-Ashley N. Hoefer and Christine S. LeCates have graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from Western New England College in Springfield, Mass. In addition, Miss LeCates, who majored in psychology, was named to the spring semester dean's list.
-John Sotherland has graduated with a B.S. in computer science, summa cum laude, from Tufts University in Medford, Mass.
-Sam Lazer, a sophomore at The Forman School in Litchfield, recently received two academic achievement awards given at the close of the college preparatory school's 2009-10 academic year.
-Asemina Loukrezis, a junior majoring in accounting has been named to the spring semester dean's list at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI.
-Lauren Perrino, a first-year student at Gettysburg College, has been named to the spring semester dean's list.
-Christian Straub and Jessica Woodin have been named to the spring semester dean's list at King's College in Wiles-Barre, Pa.
-Ashley Dileo has earned a B.S. in English from SUNY College in Oneonta, N.Y.
-Morgan B. Hopkins of New Milford, received a bachelor's degree during the 2010 commencement ceremonies of Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
Ms. Hopkins, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Trevor R. Hopkins, majored in Psychology and received a B.A. Hopkins studied abroad in South Africa -- SP09 while at HWS.
