Sarah Noble Intermediate School is collecting Box Tops for Education and Campbell's Labels for Education throughout the year. Contests will be held for students and staff, with prizes to be awarded from local businesses.

Ink cartridges are also collected in the main office.

Donations of box tops and labels may be given to a student or staff member, or mailed to Leah Rodriguez, c/o SNIS, 25 Sunny Valley Road, New Milford, CT 06776.

Several local businesses donated prizes for March's contests: Sugar Hoot, Robertson's Jewelers, Bank Street Book Nook, Bank Street Coffee House, Loree's Lanes, Nordica and Friendly's.

As a result, the school collected almost $400 of box tops.

Donors are asked to include their name and e-mail address along with their submission so they can receive a thank you note.

The school is given 10 cents per box top.

In addition, parents are encouraged to visit www.boxtops4education and www.labelsforeducation, where they can keep track of the school's progress, find new ways to help the school reach its goals and print out high coupons to use at the grocery store.

Shoppers who patronize Shop Rite may register their rewards card at and earn points to be deposited in the school's account.
