Registration underway for ASAP workshops

The After School Arts Program, which serves the Region 12 school district, will offer "Creating Heroes & Villains" and monotype printmaking workshops in the coming days.

Jesse Smolover will lead the four-week "Creating Heroes & Villains" workshop to students in grades six through eight Fridays from 2:30 to 4:15 p.m. beginning Nov. 6 at the Shepaug Valley Middle School on South Street in Washington.

The fee is $40 for students who attend school in the Region 12 school district and $60 for non-resident students.

The monotype printmaking for students in grades nine and above and adults will be taught by Caroline Wirth Ullman and Debra Losada at Ms. Losada's printmaking studio at 52 N. Main Street in Sharon on Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The fee is $40 for students who attend school in the Region 12 school district and $55 for adults in Washington, Bridgewater and Roxbury. The fee for non-residents is $75.
