Public invited to ASAP offerings
The After School Arts Program based in Washington, which serves northwestern Connecticut, is accepting registration for several upcoming workshops.
The fee is $36 for Region 12 residents and $45 for non-Region 12 residents.
A cooking workshop for preschoolers aged 3 to 5 will be held March 12, 19 and 26 at Wersebe Hall at the First Congregational Church on the Green in Washington.
Anne Gallagher will lead the workshop from 2 to 2:45 p.m.
The fee is $36 for all three sessions.
Students ages 3 to 10 are invited to participate in a Matica Circus workshop March 15 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at Washington Montessori School at 247 Litchfield Turnpike (Route 202) in Washington.
Participants will explore different circus acts such as juggling, the Chinese yoyo, spinning plates and more, and John Marshall will teach hand-drumming.
The fee is $35.
