Current and past students from the New Milford High School art department are exhibiting their work.

The art department will hold a reception of the senior art show permanent collection next Friday, Nov. 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Sweet Spot in New Milford.

The art can be seen there through Dec. 11.

Michelle Courtney is organizing the event with the help of teacher Paula Marian.

Sam Coutts will play the guitar at the 60 Railroad St. site.

Todd Umbarger, a member of the Class of 1995 and a former art student, is part of a three-person show in the gallery at The Silo at Hunt Hill Farm in the Northville section of New Milford.

Mr. Umbarger gave an artist talk about his political cartoons, which are on display at the gallery on Upland Road through March 28.
