Help available for Sherman preschoolers
Sherman School invites parents of 3- and 4-year-old children who are having difficulty with language/speech, motor, cognitive or socialization development to call the school for information about pre-school intervention.
An early childhood special education intervention team is available to provide an initial screening for 3- and 4-year-olds who may be demonstrating difficulties in overall development.
The results of the screening will be shared after the session.
If a developmental concern is noted, a follow-up meeting will be held with the parent and early childhood team to determine the next steps in the special education process.
For more information, call the school at 860-355-3793, ext. 11.
