Canterbury to show artwork from the heart

An exhibition of artwork by Canterbury School faculty, students, graduates, and friends entitled "Art of the Heart" is on display through Thursday, Feb. 10.

The exhibit is open today (Friday), Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., or by appointment in the Edward J. Duffy Family Art Gallery.

The artists were asked to create a piece inspired by the heart. Artists include Daryl Soifersmith and Marc Vanasse of New Milford; Karen Cashman and Kim Tester of Roxbury; Sylvia Hierro and Graham Wolf of Sherman; Austin Farmer and Nancy Mygatt of Washington; Marsha Doran and Nathan Meyer of Morris; Criste Linkletter, David Martin, Meredith Potter, Cammy Roffe, Mason Page of Newtown; and Kayla Lynch of Pawling, N.Y.

The artwork is for sale, with half of the proceeds to be donated to New Milford Social Services
