The Shepaug Valley High School Class of 2014 celebrated its graduation Saturday, June 14, during a sunny, windy ceremony on the hillside overlooking the school campus in Washington.

On hand for the occasion were hundreds of family members and friends, as well as Shepaug faculty and administration, and Region 12 officials and Board of Education representatives.

Seventy-six young men and women received their diplomas.

Moments later, before heading off on their separate paths in life, the graduates joined in unison to toss their Shepaug blue mortar board hats high into the blue sky in celebration.
