ASAP to offer student workshops
The After School Arts Program (ASAP) will offer many programs in coming weeks.
A web design using adobe creative suite workshop will be offered March 14 and 28, April 11 and 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Shepaug Valley High School in Washington.
Participants will explore the interface and tools of various applications.
The `bookin' it' workshop will be offered to students in kindergarten through second grade March 16 from 3:40 to 4:40 p.m. at Booth Free School in Roxbury.
Participants will make a variety of homemade books. The introduction to the violin workshop for students in grades two through five will be offered March 22, 30 and April 8 from 8:15 to 9 a.m. for Bridgewater students at the Burnham School,l located at 80 Main St.
Roxbury students will take the class March 24, April 4 and 12 from 8:15 to 9 a.m. at the Booth Free School, located at 14 South St.
Washington students may take the workshop March 28, April 6 and 14 from 8:15 to 9 a.m. at the Washington Primary School, located at 11 School St. All students will meet March 31, April 7 and 14 at the Shepaug Valley School Band Room from 3:40 to 4:40 p.m.
The Recording Your Own Music workshop for high school students will be offered March 29, 31, April 5, 7, 12 and 14 from 6:30 to 8:30 at Backroom Studios in Roxbury.
