ASAP student-art to be shown
The After School Arts Program, which serves the Region 12 school district, will present an art show Saturday, Sept. 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the KMR Arts Gallery at 2 Titus Road in Washington Depot.
A rain date of Sept. 5 is set.
The show will feature sunlight prints, or cyanotypes, created by students aged 6 to 14 under the direction of teaching artist and photographer Alyssa Robb at ASAP's summer camp.
Prints are on handmade cyanotype paper. Large prints will be available for $20 and small prints will be sold for $10, with proceeds to benefit ASAP.
Students will sell lemonade and snacks at a lemonade stand during the event.
