The After School Arts Program, which serves the Northwest region of Connecticut, will host a series of inter-district projects.

Transportation will be provided to and from Shepaug Valley High School in Washington and Woodbury and Memorial Middle School in Woodbury.

Students in grades 9 to 12 are invited to participate in an inter-district writing project, which will begin Jan. 11.

The workshop, led by author Reggie Marra, will be held at the Waterbury Arts Magnet School in Waterbury.

The workshop will meet Jan. 11-12, 18-19 and 25-26 and Feb. 1-2 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Registration is $88.

Students in grades 6 to 12 are invited to participate in an inter-district dance, percussion and strings projects, which will begin Jan. 4.

The workshops, led by world-renowned dance company Pilobolus, master percussionist John Marshall, and the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra, Friso Hermans, and John Mobilio, respectively, will also take place at the Waterbury Arts Magnet School.

The workshops will be held Jan. 4-6, 11-13, 18-20 and 25-27 and Feb. 1-3 and 8-9 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Registration is $152 for Region 12 students and $209 for non-Region 12 students for the dance and percussion portion. Registration is $132 for the strings portion.
