Police seek driver in I-84 Southbury hit-and-run
SOUTHBURY — State police are looking for the driver who sideswiped a semi-truck and fled on westbound Interstate 84 last week.
The incident happened around 10:20 p.m. Thursday near Exit 15.
A 2019 Freightliner Cascadia, driven by 51-year-old Windsor resident Cleon White, was merging into the right lane when a light-colored sedan passed on the left and sideswiped the truck’s front grill.
White reported no injuries and declined medical attention.
The other car fled the scene and remains unidentified, according to state police.
