Probate judge 'proud, excited' to win election
To the Editor:
I am excited, proud and humbled to have received the support of so many who elected me the first Judge of Probate for the newly formed five-town Housatonic district on Nov. 2.
The many volunteers who attended my fundraisers, posted my lawn signs and graciously gave their time, donations and enthusiasm to support my campaign have my deep appreciation.
I also received great assistance and encouragement from family and friends and made many new friends along the way.
As probate judge of the new district, I look forward to serving all the citizens of Bridgewater, Brookfield, New Fairfield, New Milford and Sherman with the same dedication and hometown touch which I have shown as judge in New Milford and Bridgewater for the past 12 years.
I pledge to continue to carry out my duties with the same integrity, compassion and efficiency.
My thanks also go to all who traveled to the polls. You fulfilled your civic obligation to vote and I applaud your dedication.
God Bless America and the troops who defend her.
