Celli Rigdon 'wants to make a difference' on school board
To the Editor:
Dedicated volunteer, dependable friend, child advocate and devoted mother are only a few of the ways that I would describe Lynette Celli Rigdon.
She has been a loyal friend for more than 13 years and I cannot think of anyone that I would rather see elected as a board of education member.
Not only does she advocate for children, but also she is an active member of the community.
She volunteers at the local animal shelter and finds time to be a Cub Scout den leader and MVP-SOS auction committee member.
When Lynette confided to me of her candidacy, I was not surprised that she would take on such an important position.
It is a role that she was born to succeed in.
With a degree in elementary education and her lifelong experience of being a New Milford resident, she is an ideal choice to breathe new life into the board of education.
Lynette's campaign slogans "one voice for all" and "common sense" represent a commitment to listen to suggestions and accept feedback, but also question the unreasonable.
She wants to make a difference in our schools and, with your vote, improvements can be made.
Lynette Celli Rigdon is the voice that I want to hear advocating for my children and the students of New Milford.
