New Milford nurse receives surprise from Adam Levine, Jimmy Kimmel
A New Milford wellness nurse received a surprise of a lifetime from Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine and late night TV show host Jimmy Kimmel this week.
In a segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Friday, Kimmel invited Samantha Brown onto the program as part of the Adobe #honorheroes program.
The wellness nurse works at Maplewood at Newtown, an assisted living facility that services seniors in northern Fairfield County.
“We really love these residents and these residents are family," said Brown to Kimmel. Brown is also the mother of a 2- and 5-year-old.
Brown was chosen after artwork of her, done by her sister Sandra Ristau, was featured by the Adobe giveback program honoring frontline heroes.
As part of the surprise, Kimmel invited Levine onto the program as Brown claimed to be a big fan of the "Moves Like Jagger" singer.
After a moment of gushing over the spontaneous moment, Kimmel revealed to Brown that she would be receiving $10,000 from Adobe, as well as gift certificates for food delivery for her and her coworkers at the assisted living home.
