Youth sought for Hearts in Harmony choir

Hearts in Harmony Jr. is looking for young people in grades three through high school to be ambassadors of love by singing one or two songs of kindness and compassion at civic events throughout our area.
Attendance at only two 90-minute rehearsals per month, which will take place at a school in New Milford in the late afternoon, is expected.
The free choir welcomes children of all ethnicities, abilities and socio-economic background and membership requires no audition process.
Linda Wrenn, founder/director, has a degree in music education and much experience working with children.
Because a choir such as this has not been developed anywhere in the area, it is requested that the parents of interested members attend a mandatory informative meeting March 15 at 7 p.m. in room 3117 at New Milford High School on Route 7 South.
The prospective choir members are welcome to attend the meeting but it is not mandatory.
HHJR welcomes any area civic groups that believe a very short free performance by HHJR at their upcoming event or meeting should contact Wrenn.
