Wine tasting to benefit cancer center program
A wine tasting, “A Wicked Wine Evening,” to benefit New Milford Hospital’s Diebold Cancer Center is planned for Oct. 27 in New Milford.
The event, to be held at the 19 Main venue at 19 Main St., will feature hors d’oeuvres and more than 100 wines, whiskeys and craft beers.
John Nejaime, owner of New Milford Spirit Shoppe and Nejaime’s Wine & Spirits, has been conducting an annual winetasting fundraiser to support New Milford Hospital’s Breast Health Program since 2003.
A standard ticket is $40 and includes 7 p.m. admission to the tasting, where more than 100 wines, whiskeys and craft beers will be available.
A VIP ticket is $75 and includes a 6 p.m. admission to the tasting room and exclusive access to the VIP lounge, where exclusive tastings of Dom Perignon, Caymus Special Selection, Honig Stagecoach Cabernet, Macallan Rare Cask Scotch, Johnny Walker Blue, Bollinger Grand Annee, Chateau Montelena, Quinta do Noval Vintage Port, Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame champagne and others will be available.
