The White Silo in Sherman will host a wine tasting to benefit the Wildlife-Line July 18 at 7 p.m. at the wintery at 32 Route 37 East.

Going into its seventh year of operation, the Wildlife-Line has been committed to protecting and saving orphaned or injured animals and returning them to their proper habitats.

Founder Debbie Corcione is one of only three rehabilitators in the state permitted to rehabilitate deer.

All of the costs for medications, veterinary care and day-to-day operations are funded by donations or are out of pocket.

Tickets are $20 and may be purchased by visiting www.thewildlifeline.com, clicking on the "donate" button and typing "wine" and the number of people to attend. Cash and checks will also be accepted at the door.
