The third annual Connecticut Cheese & Wine Festival 2012 will be held Oct. 13 at Hopkins Vineyard in New Preston.

The event will be held under a tent from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hopkins Road vineyard.

Patrons will have an opportunity to sample locally-made, award-winning cheeses and specialty foods from Connecticut.

In addition, a variety of activities, including cooking demonstrations and live music by the Craig Hartley Trio, will be offered.

Admission is $20 in advance by visiting www.artisanmade-ne.com or www.hoplkinsvineyard.com. Children under 12 will be admitted for free. Tickets are $22 the day of the event.
