William Michael Fletcher, 67, of New Milford, died at his home Sept. 4, 2011. He was the husband of Barbara (Baylock) Fletcher.
Mr. Fletcher was born June 20, 1944 in Scranton, Pa., a son of the late John and Allison (Lynott) Fletcher.
He served in the Navy from 1962 to 1969.
Mr. Fletcher was a self-employed carpenter most of his life.
For Mr. Fletcher, family came first.
He enjoyed his dahlia flower garden, antiquing with his wife and helping any friend or neighbor without being asked.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Fletcher is survived by his daughter, Abigail Raymond, and her husband, Edwin; a granddaughter, Emma Grace Raymond; his sister, Sharon Yarochowicz, and her husband Albert; his brother, Robert Fletcher, and his wife, Pamela; and several nieces and nephews.
