The Roxbury Land Trust will present a free lecture on beavers Oct. 25 at 4 p.m. at town hall on Route 67.

The program is part of the land trust’s ongoing series about wildlife, plants and other nature-oriented aspects of living in Litchfield County.

James Fischer, research director at the White Memorial Conservation Center in Litchfield, will give the illustrated talk, which will be geared for both adults and children.
