Wheeler art to be exhibited

Burnham Library in Bridgewater will open an exhibit of works by Amy Wheeler with a reception Feb. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The show, which will feature works with a realistic twist, inspired by the masters of the realism movement, will run through March 31.

Wheeler has always indulged in her passion for painting with oils and other mediums.

Raised in Sherman, Wheeler attended Western Connecticut State University, where she received a bachelor of fine arts degree. She also earned a master’s degree in elementary education.

She is a teacher in Norwalk.
