To the Editor:
The management of Harrybrooke Park would like to thank everyone who helped April 13 with the annual spring clean-up of the park.
The hard-working volunteers included the Friends of Harrybrooke, Cub Scout Troop 58 and Boy Scout Troop 58, parents and troop leaders, as well as members of the New Milford Lions Club.
Harrybrooke Park does not receive any municipal funding. The continued preservation of the beauty of the park for all to enjoy is by the countless hours of labor provided by volunteers and the generous donations it receives from caring people of our community.
The park will officially be open for the season on Memorial Day. Please be sure to visit the park and enjoy a relaxing day with your friends and family or to get some exercise in some beautiful surroundings and fresh air.
Please visit www.harrybrookepark.org to find contact information for helping out, joining the Friends of Harrybrooke, or making a much-needed and appreciated, tax-deductible charitable donation to the park.
