Webelos from Cub Scout Pack 467 in New Milford were recently hosted by New Milford Mayor David Gronbach.
Scouts learned about town government and important issues facing the community as part of their Building a Better World adventure during the Oct. 13 visit to the mayor’s office.
Visiting the mayor were Aidan Atherton, Will Bergner, Carter Brandel, Jackson Higgins, Michael Karaffa, Bill Kaschube, Declan O’Brien, Talon Profeta, Ian Reguin, Connor Rivera and Jarrod St. Amand.
The Webelos were joined by Wolf rank Cub Scouts Oliver Brandel and Andrew Karaffa and Girl Scout Lilah Reguin.
“It was a great visit and the Scouts truly had a great time,” said Pack 467 Cubmaster Matt Higgins.
“Mayor Gronbach was incredibly kind to the young Scouts, forthcoming and extremely generous with his time,” he said.
Following their visit with the mayor, the Scouts performed the opening ceremony at the Oct. 24 Town Council meeting.
