WASHINGTON — Weantinoge Heritage Land Trust hosted “A Conversation on Sustainability” last weekend with David Owen, author of “The Conundrum: How Scientific Innovation Increased Efficiency, and Good Intentions Can Make Our Energy and Climate Problems Worse.”

The talk, held at Washington Montessori School drew more than 60 area residents. Topics included why urban living can be good for the environment, and how seeming common sense behavior can make our energy and climate problem worse.

The event was co-hosted by the Bethlehem Land Trust, CT Land Conservation Council, Housatonic Valley Association, Naromi Land Trust, and Steep Rock Association and Warren Land Trust.

It was made possible by the support of the CT Community Foundation and Peter Talbot Architects.
