The third annual Shepaug River Association volunteer water quality monitoring training and event will be held May 5 and 7 in Roxbury and Danbury.

New volunteer training will be offered May 5 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Roxbury town hall, Route 67.

A Still River Greenway cleanup will be held May 7 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Still River Greenway entrance, 1 Corporate Drive, Danbury.

Volunteers are invited to participate in water quality monitoring May 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Roxbury.

Volunteers are asked to meet at town hall. Sampling locations will be along the Shepaug River main stem in Roxbury and Washington.

Volunteer stream walk training will be offered June 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Roxbury town hall.

Volunteers will be trained by Natural Resource Conservation Service staff.
