Washington Parks & Rec notes
Following are programs offered by the town of Washington's Parks Recreation Department.
Programs must be pre-paid. Application forms are available outside the Parks Recreation office during Bryan Memorial Town Hall hours.
Office hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sessions for those age 7 and up instructed by Doug Wilke meet Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Primary School. Cost is $60 for 10 weeks.
A half-mile walking path along the athletic fields behind Washington Primary School is open for residents and guests.
Sessions instructed by Dee Calvey meet Wednesdays from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. at Bryan Memorial Town Hall. Cost is $10 per class.
Sessions for all ages and experience instructed by Anne Novak meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 a.m. in Bryan Memorial Town Hall. Cost is $15 per class. For information, call (860) 868-9529.
Sessions instructed by Anne Hungerford will meet Thursdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. For information, call Parks Recreation.
Classes coordinated by Denise Arturi meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. upstairs at the Primary School. The fee is $80 for an eight-week session of 16 classes or pay as you go. Participants should bring boxing gloves and a water bottle.

Sessions for Region 12 residents meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. throughout the school year at the Primary School. Cost for the season will be $25.
Sessions for Region 12 residents meet Mondays through Fridays from 6:45 to 7:45 a.m. throughout the school year at Shepaug Valley High School.
Free coed sessions meet Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. throughout the school year at Shepaug Valley High School.
