Programs offered by Washington's Parks & Recreation Department.
Programs must be pre-paid. Application forms are available outside the Parks & Recreation office during Bryan Memorial Town Hall hours. Office hours are Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Trip to the Big `E'
A Sept. 22 bus trip to Connecticut Day at the Big "E," the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Mass., will leave Bryan Memorial Town Hall at 7:30 a.m. and retrn at approximately 7 p.m. Cost of $40 will include Big "E" admission, transportation and driver's tip.
Classes for those aged 7-99 meet Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Washington Montessori School. Children aged 5-6 may meet from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Cost for a 10-week session would be $65 per student (and $45 per additional family member). Note: Those participating in ongoing programs at the town hall should park behind the town hall.
Sessions for Region 12 residents will return upon completion of repairs to the Shepaug Valley High School pool.
Classes coordinated by Denise Arturi meet Mondays and Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. upstairs in Bryan Memorial Town Hall. Experience is not necessary. Cost is $10 per class or $100 for 16 classes.
Sessions instructed by Doug Greene meet Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 to 9:15 a.m. upstairs at Bryan Memorial Town Hall at the cost of $15 per class (or $10 per class for students or seniors), $65 for five classes, $120 for 10 classes or $220 for 20 classes.
