The following are programs offered by Washington's Parks & Recreation Department.
Programs must be pre-paid. Application forms are available outside the Parks & Recreation office during Bryan Memorial Town Hall hours. Office hours are Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Half-hour sessions directed by Mo Van Moffaert for youths pre-school to 8th grade will meet July 20, 22, 27 and 29, Aug. 3 and 5 at the Devereux Glenholme School pool. Cost will be $35 per child or $87.50 for a family of three or more children.
Berkshire field hockey
Sessions directed by Jaye Stuart will meet July 27-31 from 9 a.m. to noon for grades 3-8 and from 5:30 p.m. to dark for high school at Shepaug Valley High School. For information or registration, e-mail email@example.com.
A $25 sticker fee with proof of residency is required for ramp use. Hours through Labor Day, Sept. 7 at the town boat ramp at Lake Waramaug are Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 6 a.m. to sunset and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All boats are checked for milfoil and subject to a $5 inspection fee. Parking is limited on a first-come/first served basis. Violators will be towed. The ramp will close for the season Oct. 25 at sunset. An extra fee of $75 would be charged for late removal of boats.
The summer schedule of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily is underway through Labor Day, Sept. 7. Residents and taxpayers may use the picnic area and beach at the cost of $20 for the season. Limited permits are available at the beach and at the Parks & Recreation office. The beach director is Jeff Cox.
Yankees vs. Rangers
An Aug. 25 bus trip will head to The Bronx in New York City to see the Yankees play the Texas Rangers at Yankee Stadium. The bus will depart at 3 p.m. from Bryan Memorial Town Hall. Cost will be $75 including transportation, ticket and driver's tip.
Classes for juniors aged 7-12 and those older from 13 to 99 meet Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. at Washington Montessori School. Cost for a 10-week session is $60 per student (and $40 per additional family member). For information, call instructors Tom and Roberta O'Neil at (203) 266-5889.
