Washington: ASAP!'s 11th annual Celebration Of Young Photographers seeks submissions

WASHINGTON — Submissions are being accepted for ASAP!’s 11th annual Celebration Of Young Photographers.

Students in grades 6-12 are invited to submit up to two photographs inspired by this year's theme — Space.

The word ‘space’ has many different meanings. After a year of quarantine and all that came with it, how is space meaningful to you? How do you use, hold, treasure, loathe, or dream of space? How will you capture and express this in a single image?

A panel of judges will jury the show. The top 60 selected photographs will be exhibited at Bryan Memorial Town Hall in Washington Depot Nov. 14, from 2-4 p.m.

The submission link and guidelines for the event may be found by visiting asap.org/celebration-of-young-photographers. The deadline for submissions is Oct. 1.

ASAP! is a social profit arts organization serving nearly 10,000 students throughout Connecticut each year.
