Warren to receive more free COVID test kits, N95 masks

WARREN — The town is receiving more free COVID test kits and N95 masks from the state, according to a post on the town’s website Sunday evening from First Selectman Gregory LaCava.

Those items will be available to residents who have not previously received a kit from the town, the post said.

To be able to serve residents in a safe and efficient manner, the town will be setting up appointments beginning Monday, Jan. 10, at 9:30 a.m. Contact Terry Keith at 860-868-7881, ext. 116, in the selectman’s office for an appointment.

Residents are asked not to call and leave a voice message. The town will not be able to return calls in a timely manner during this process, according to the post.

Products will be distributed from Town Hall.

The town is asking residents to arrive at their scheduled time, wear a mask and have their driver’s license indicating their full-time Warren residency.

Those experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 are advised to let the town know prior to pickup so a town employee can meet them in the parking lot for distribution.
