Warren School Principal Dr. Angela Rossbach was recently presented the Connecticut Association for the Gifted 2016 Educator of the Year Award.
Rossbach received the award at CAG’s annual members’ dinner May 10 at Gusto in Milford.
The evening’s festivities also included the presentation of the 2016 Friend of the Gifted Award, which was presented to State Education Commissioner Dr. Dianna R. Wentzell.
The award Rossbach received honors a program, teacher or school administrator who has gone above and beyond to provide gifted students with an exceptional academic experience.
Over the past year, Rossbach enthusiastically championed the development of a Talented and Gifted program for Regional School District 6, just as she is keenly sensitive to the learning and enrichment needs of all students, according to the press release from CAG.
The release also cited Rossbach’s organization, progressive and proactive attitude, and communication.
