The Warren Public Library is celebrating its 100th anniversary.
The library established itself with the state library system in November 1914.
To mark the milestone, the library will hold a celebration and fundraising event Nov. 8 at Hopkins Vineyard in Warren.
Festivities will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hopkins Road site.
Offerings will include an exhibition and sale of works by local artists, a wine tasting, food, a silent auction and birthday cake.
The artwork and auction pieces have been donated by local businesses and individuals commemorate the library's 100 years in Warren.
Admission of $25 per person will include the wine tasting, food and cake. An admission of $15 per person will include light beverages, food and cake.
For more information, call the library at 860-868-2195, contact email@example.com or visit www.warrenctlibrary.org.
The proceeds will benefit the Warren Public Library 100th year Birthday Celebration. We are hosting an event for them on November 8th and any of the art work that has not sold, we will sell during the Ladies Night Event. Also our vendors will all donate an item to be made into a gift basket and raffled at the event. Proceeds will benefit the Warren Public Library.
