The New Milford Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice will host its 31st annual interfaith remembrance service Nov. 23 at 3:30 p.m. in New Milford.

It will be followed by the lighting of New Milford's Tree of Life.

The service at the First Congregational Church on Main Street will honor deceased community members and will feature readings, music and a reading of the Roll of Remembrance.

Afterwards, residents are invited to the lighting of the Tree of Life in

front of the Richmond Citizen Center next to the church.

A reception will follow at the center.

A Tree of Life will be lit Nov. 20 at 5 p.m., followed by a reception at the Swift House in Kent.

Trees of Life will also be displayed in Washington, Bridgewater and Roxbury.
