UN focused lecture to explore culture, more

The United Nations Association Connecticut Chapter will present a lecture Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at Arts Escape, 88 Main St. South, Southbury.
Dr. Robert J. Petrausch, a National Council member of the United Nations Association-USA representing the New England region, and a board member of the UNA-CT organization, will discuss the influence of culture, politics, and fake news and its impact on the UN.

Petrausch, a faculty member and former chair of the department of mass communication at Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y., hold a doctorate in education from the Department of Organization and Leadership at Columbia University, as well as a M.S. from Boston University’s School of Communications.
He has extensive international experience as an academic and former communications executive with global organizations and is a member of the Princeton Club in New York City
Admission is $15 in advance and $20 at the door. A portion of the proceeds will go the UN Association of Connecticut.
