Theresa R. (DuBois) Grenier, 81, of White Street, Watertown, died Dec. 8 at her home. She was the wife of Gerard L. Grenier.

Mrs. Grenier was born Dec. 16, 1930, in Madawaska, Maine, daughter of the late Edward and Rosemary (Daigle) DuBois. She was raised in Waterbury and had lived in Watertown for many years.

Mrs. Grenier was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. She had done private duty elder care, a job in which she showed devotion to her patients.

She loved children and animals. She also made and collected porcelain dolls.

In addition to her husband of 63 years, Mrs. Grenier is survived by two sons, Andre Grenier, of Washington, and Mark Grenier, of Oakville; two daughters, Diane Lautenshlager, of Watertown, and Nancy Zambero, of Bethlehem; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The Hickcox Funeral Home in Watertown was in charge of arrangements.
