TheatreWorks New Milford will open its production of George Orwell’s satire “Animal Farm,” adapted by Ian Wooldridge, May 5 at 8 p.m.

Following opening night, the play will be staged Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. through May 27, as well as May 21 at 2 p.m.

The cast includes John Taylor, Viv Berger, Sonnie Osborne, Alex Echevarria, Joan Wyner, Izzy Watson, Jocelyn Beard, Jeff Miller, Maxwell Diaz, Teri Gatten, Rob Pawlikowski, Adele Burke, James McGuinness and Lucy McKay.

The play is under the direction and design of Kevin Sosbe of New Milford.

Tickets are $23 for reserved seating. Students and military personnel with ID will be admitted to shows for $18.

A pay-what-you-can night will be held May 11 at 8 p.m.

The theater is located at 5 Brookside Ave., but parking is located behind the Catherine E. Lillis Administration Building off East Street.
