TheatreWorks New Milford will hold auditions Jan. 29-30 from 7 to 9 p.m. for its upcoming production of George Orwell’s satirical drama “Animal Farm.”

The play is adapted by Ian Wooldridge.

People ages 12 and older are invited to audition, although the cast will be predominantly adults.

The production feature a barnyard of creatures that will commit to embodying the animal quality of their characters.

There will be doubling or tripling of several roles.

Kevin Sosbe of New Milford will be the director.

Auditions will be open. Individuals who cannot attend the audition dates can contact Sosbe at to arrange an appointment on another date.

Auditions will be held at the 5 Brookside Ave. theater, although parking is located behind the Catherine E. Lillis Building off East Street.

Rehearsals will begin in March and the performance will run on weekends in May.
