TheatreWorks New Milford TW Kids program has announced two programs for the summer and fall.

A new three-day audition/acting intensive that will focus on the fundamentals of acting, performance techniques for straight performance and musical theatre will take place Tuesday.

Students will learn how to go from auditioning for the part, to getting the part, rehearsing the part and performing the part.

The workshop, geared toward students 9 and older, will be led by Anthony DePoto.

Classes will meet June 27 to 29 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with tuition at $125.

A three-week program, “Singing in the Rain Jr.,” begins July 24.

DePoto will lead students ages 7 to 18 in this program.

All skill levels will have the opportunity to learn and hone the craft of live musical theatre.

Performances will take place Aug. 11 to 13, with tuition at $450.

Students 7 to 18 are invited to Monty Python’s “Spamalot Young@Part” Tuesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 24.

Performances will take place Dec. 7 to 8 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Tuition is $350.
