The Sherman Playhouse will open its production of Molière's 17th-century comedic farce “Tartuffe” July 8 at 8 p.m.

Following opening night, the play will be staged Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. through July 31, as well as July 17 and 31 at 2 p.m.

The cast includes Patrick Kelly of Ridgefield, David Bailey of Salisbury, John Fabiani of Watertown, Lauren Hoag of Yorktown Heights, N.Y., Kit Colbourn of Fishkill, N.Y., Shea Coughlin of Sherman, Bruce Tredwell of Brewster, N.Y., Katherine and David Almquist of Sharon, and Robin Frome and Gabriel Fowler of New Milford.

Paul J. Tines of Kent is the director.

Tickets are $22 for adults and $11 for children 12 and under. Students will be admitted for $11 any time so long as they pay in cash and carry a valid student ID. A half-price night will be held July 7 at 8 p.m.
