A four-week education and support program, "Take Charge: Your Money, Your Life, Your Future," will take place Oct. 1, 21, 28 and Nov. 4 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Richmond Citizen Center, 40 Main St.

Social workers Ivana Butera and Peg Molina will lead the program.

The series focuses on helping participants strengthen their relationship with money to support their goals in life.

Many basic money management topics will be covered, as well as the attitudes and behaviors that often foil best-laid financial plans.

Couples are encouraged to attend together.

The series is open to everyone, regardless of income level.

A light supper will be provided and child care will be available.
