The Sherman Playhouse will open its production of "The Subject Was Roses" March 30.

Following opening night, the play will be staged Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. through April 21. A matinee will take place April 15 at 2 p.m.

The show features Matt McQuail of Newtown, M.J. Hartell of Brookfield and Matthew Bagley of Danbury.

Tickets are $20. Patrons may attend a half-price night March 29 at 8 p.m. Students may view any performance for $10 if they pay in cash and show a valid student identification card.
